On Saturday, Kylian Mbappe won the French Cup with Paris Saint-Germain in his final game for the club. PSG defeated Lyon.
Ousmane Dembele and Fabio Ruiz scored for the Ligue 1 winners, who went on to win the match 2-1.
In the second, Lyon’s Jake O’Biren got one back, and then PSG’s Gianluigi Donnarumma made a fantastic stop.
The record-extending 15th Cup triumph, PSG’s first since 2021, comes on top of their already impressive Ligue 1 and French Super Cup victories.
Nevertheless, they made it all the way to the Champions League semi-finals when Borussia Dortmund knocked them out.
With his contract expiring, Mbappe is a free agent and is rumored to join Real Madrid.
