After that performance, Arteta was instructed to continue playing the Arsenal star

Adrian Clarke, a former Arsenal player, wants manager Mikel Arteta to start Eddie Nketiah up front against Fulham in Saturday’s Premier League match at the Emirates Stadium.

Nketiah excelled in Monday’s 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace for Arsenal in the Premier League at Selhurst Park.

For Arsenal against Palace, the 24-year-old won a penalty, which captain Martin Odegaard converted.

In Gabriel Jesus’ absence, Nketiah has so far played in Arsenal’s opening two Premier League games of the season against Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace.

According to Clarke (via TBR), “Eddie [Nketiah] effectively won us the game with that piece of movement to win the penalty. I know Odegaard scored us the goal, but Eddie won us the game with that piece of movement to win the penalty.”

There is no way you [Arteta] can leave him out after that performance because he is performing on Saturday.
