Not only did the legendary Portuguese striker net his 66th hat trick of his career in this match, but he also scored his 50th goal of the season.
But he stressed that the team’s success is more important to him than his own personal accomplishments.
The 39-year-old made it clear after the game that he was more concerned with the team’s success than with his own hat trick.
In response to a question regarding his near-900 goal career total, Ronaldo made the following statement after the game:
