Posted by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu made the right choice by eliminating the fuel subsidy, according to Ambassador Abayomi Nurain Mumuni, a senior member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State.
This information was revealed in a statement he released to celebrate Eid-ul-Kabir with Muslims.
In a statement released on Thursday and signed by his media assistant Rasheed Abubakar, Mumuni urged Muslims to praise Allah Ta’ala for giving them the chance to celebrate another Eid.
I ask Nigerians to put up with the reform measures the Tinubu-led administration is introducing, especially in the subsidy sector, he declared.
“Removing the subsidy was the right move for him to make. With these game-changing rules in place, I have no doubt that we will all come out ahead.
“Once more, I wish the Muslim community a joyful Eid ul-Adha. Let me also express my congratulations to our family members who are performing the hajj in Saudi Arabia from afar. May Allah recognize their rites as acts of worship. May He pardon them for all their transgressions, grant their prayer requests, and, as promised, make them into babies. I hope all the pilgrims arrive back at their starting points safely.
