Samuel Ortom, the governor of Benue State, has once more urged Nigerians to embrace justice, fairness, and equality as a solution to the nation’s escalating security issues.

In a message of goodwill to Muslim believers on the occasion of Eid Malud, Ortom asked followers of the religion to imbibe the profound spiritual characteristics that the Holy Prophet Muhammad exhibited.

The governor advocated for religious tolerance within and among different religious groups, claiming that doing so would ensure the nation’s peace, security, and harmony.

He gave the Muslim Umah the responsibility of dedicating the celebration time to prayers for Nigeria’s peace and unity, particularly as the elections in 2023 draw near.

In order to get Nigeria to operate for the benefit of all citizens, Governor Ortom argued that all Nigerians should participate in the peace-building process.

He sends his best wishes to Nigerians for a joyous and quiet holiday.

Every year, Eid-Malud is observed to remember the birth of Prophet Muhammad.
