Newcomers to the Premier League Luton Town have confirmed the signing of forward Chiedozie Ogbene, who was born in Nigeria.

After his contract with Rotherham United in the Sky Bet Championship expired, Ogbene joined Luton Town.

For the Millers past season, the 26-year-old scored nine goals and contributed four assists in all games.

After joining the Hatters, the athlete stated his excitement about the move.

Because of my journey and where I’ve been over the previous five and a half years—from Limerick FC in the League of Ireland to Luton Town FC in the Premier League—I’m thrilled to be here as a Premier League player. He told the club’s official website, “My former coach said it would be one in 200,000—I guess I’m that one!”

“To me, my journey has been unique. I spent four seasons with Rotherham United, where I made some wonderful friends and accomplished some wonderful things. However, I couldn’t pass up the chance to be a Luton Town player with a chance to play in the Premier League.
