A Nigerian man recently revealed on Twitter that his brother had hired their father years after he had been shunned for religious reasons.

@bobola__ claims that his brother launched a pig/pork company years ago, which is banned (or ‘haram’) in Islam.
Their father disowned him as a result of his decision to enter the business.
For his brother’s benefit, the company prospered greatly, and he eventually went home and sent their father on a pilgrimage to Mecca.

It’s interesting to note that the father, who vehemently opposed the venture, has since changed his mind and is now the manager of the pig farm.
