Olamilekan Agbeleshe, also known as Laycon, who won Big Brother Naija Season 5 has explained why he stopped making music.
The rapper claimed that the reason he took a break was because music “no longer fun.”
This information was provided by Laycon in a recent interview with well-known media figure J. Malone.
The ‘Fierce’ crooner claimed that he began performing music at a young age.
To be honest, I’ve been making music for as long as I can remember.
Music was excellent. I’ve always found music to be enjoyable, so I took a hiatus when it ceased to be so.
“I’ve always liked singing ever since I was a tiny kid. I simply enjoy listening to other people’s music and wish to sing it. I didn’t consider making mine until I was about 13 years old. Actually, I just swapped their lyrics for mine. I continued to exploit their rhythms and flows. And that is when I began to compose music.
“When I entered the university in 2012, I began releasing music. However, I released ‘The Young, Black, and Gifted’ EP, my first significant project, in 2016.
