The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for president, Bola Tinubu, has been advised to get his late mother, Abibatu Mogaji, to vouch for his age, according to House Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila.
This was said by Gbajabiamila on Saturday during a speech at an APC rally in Lagos.
Tinubu’s year of birth has been a contentious issue for a while.
Wikipedia disabled the former governor of Lagos’ profile page last year due to what it described as “continuous vandalism.”
People who are unsure of Tinubu’s age can consult Abibatu, who passed away in 2013, according to Gbajabiamila.
They will question you extensively. They’ll inquire, “Who is Tinubu?” Inform them that Tinubu is the best politician in Nigerian politics today, according to Gbajabiamila.
“They will inquire as to his age and ask you how old he is. Tell them that Gbajabiamila advised them to see his mother to confirm if they had any doubts about his age, he stated.
In response to those who asserted that Tinubu didn’t attend school, Gbajabiamila argued that “he is more educated than all the contestants put together.”
