To advance the health sector, we’ll work with IHVN, says Mutfwang

Caleb Mutfwang, the governor of Plateau State, has stated a strong desire to work with the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria (IHVN) to improve the state’s healthcare system.

He added that the state’s health sector will improve as a result of the relationship.

Governor Mutfwang expressed his joy at his long-standing relationship with Dr. Patrick Dakum in a speech to the institute’s management and personnel on Tuesday, immediately after paying a courtesy call to the chief executive officer.

Dakum was commended by the povernor as an outstanding technocrat who has significantly improved Nigeria’s healthcare system.

He stated, “In my opinion, this institute benefits not just Plateau State but also the entire nation of Nigeria. I express my fervent prayers for the Institute’s continued success and contribution to humanity’s well-being.

“I have no doubt that the wealth of institutional expertise and capability will considerably improve Plateau State’s governance. The health industry deserves a dedicated and critical approach because of its importance.

The Governor reaffirmed the initiatives of his administration to improve primary and tertiary healthcare in the state, with an emphasis on delivering crucial medical interventions to at-risk infants and women.

The Chief Executive Officer of the IHVN welcomed Governor Mutfwang, expressing his joy at the visit and reiterating his complete support for the leadership of the State Government under Governor Mutfwang.

Dakum promised to use his extensive experience to revitalize the state’s healthcare system and to provide helpful assistance.

“Our dedication to helping your administration is deeply ingrained.

“We are committed to Plateau State’s development and are keen to strengthen the state’s healthcare system. We are ready to offer the assistance that is required,” he insisted.
