In his Sallah speech to the populace, the emir made this disclosure through Alhaji Musa Lawan, the Madakin Tikau.

He claimed that after receiving food aid from the World Food Programme, the residents of the nearby Fune Local Government Area stopped farming as a result.

“Everything you see in this country has come from farming,” the royal father said. “Our people should participate fully in the farming system.”

The mornach revealed that people should exercise caution since any assistance they receive will soon disappear if it is not from Allah, therefore they shouldn’t give up farming.

Governor Mai Mala Buni was commended by Alhaji Muhammadu Abubakar Ibn Grema for his aid to the emirate, and he was told that “we are one hundred percent in support of your government.”
