The state’s commissioner for information and orientation, Bamidele Ademola-Olateju, released a press release in which she explained that the claims about the governor’s health were completely untrue.
Adamu reportedly labeled Akeredolu, who is now on medical leave, as being in a “extreme incapacity” during a meeting with state chairmen of the party in Abuja.

According to the statement, the bogus allegations were made by frantic politicians hoping to stir strife and spread malicious rumors about the governor and the state.
Ademola-Olateju emphasized that Ade Adetimehin, the state party chairman, who was present at the meeting, had affirmed that the national chairman had only offered prayers for the unwell governor’s quick recovery.
