Posted by A 12-year-old girl’s body was discovered inside a suitcase in Paris, according to sources.
Her father got concerned when she did not return home from school on Friday, according to BFMTV.
Later that day, the girl’s mother went to the local police station in Paris’s 19th arrondissement and reported her missing.
After discovering evidence of a kidnapping in the basement of the family home, detectives launched an immediate investigation.
A woman was then seen leave the premises with a bag, which was eventually discovered a few blocks away in rue d’Hautpoul with the girl’s body inside.
Her face was taped up, and her throat had many slashes. On Saturday, a post-mortem examination will be performed.
Four people are being detained, however it is unclear why they were apprehended. One of them is the man who contacted the cops after finding the suitcase.
The inquiry into a’murder of a minor under the age of 15′ is still ongoing.
