Parts of Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria, might lose electricity on Saturday, according to the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).
The power outage is expected to continue for six hours, according to a statement signed by TCN spokesperson Ndidi Mbah.
Mbah has announced that the Gwagwalada and Apo transmission substations, which are responsible for its 132kV line 1, will undergo routine repair.
The locations hit by the outage were as follows: Lokogoma, Kabusa Garden, TradeMore, Pyakasa, Aherita, Chika, Games Village, Stadium, Wuye, Utako, Life Camp, and Idu.
Additionally, he mentioned that the 132/33kV Kukwaba transmission substation will have a power outage.
Between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm, there will be maintenance.
“The power will be turned back on as soon as the maintenance is finished,”
