Sani responds to Abdullahi Adamu’s resignation by saying, “I knew he would tread Adam’s path

Shehu Sani, a former senator from Kaduna Central, has made fun of Abdullahi Adamu, the APC’s former national chairman.

Sani claimed that Adamu’s tenure as the National Chairman of the APC demonstrated that he will follow in the footsteps of his forebears.

According to him, it was clear that Adamu would take the wrong turn from the moment he named former Senate President Ahmad Lawan as the APC’s consensus presidential candidate until he was shunned at the National Assembly’s senior officers’ presentation.

In a tweet, Sani stated: “From the moment he announced Lawan as the ruling party’s consensus candidate and was left stranded by Buhari, to the moment he was kept in the dark on the approved list of principal officers of the National Assembly, I knew that Adamu will thread the path of Adams.”

There are rumors that the APC problem has reached a breaking point after Nze Duru, the party’s deputy national organizing secretary, announced Adamu’s departure.

Duru also revealed that, in accordance with the party’s constitution, Abubakar Kyari, the party’s deputy national chairman for the north, assumed the role of acting national chairman.
