Dayo Ojo will meet with representatives from Remo Stars on Friday to finalize the terms of his new deal.
Ojo’s current Remo Stars contract has come to an end, but the Sky Blue Stars are prepared to provide fresh, better terms to keep the player with the team.
The midfielder is contemplating his options after receiving an enticing offer from another Nigeria Premier League team, Shooting Stars.
In an exclusive interview with 460play on Thursday afternoon from his headquarters in Akure, Ojo stated, “I have a meeting scheduled for tomorrow with the management of the club (Remo Stars).”
“I absolutely want to stay at the club, but it all depends on the offer they make.
I have to work for what I think is right for me, but I can’t deny that I adore the club.
The 28-year-old moved from Enyimba to the Ikenne club two years ago.
He was a significant contributor to Remo Stars’ second-place NPL finish the previous year.
