In response to Yevgeny Prigozhin, the alleged leader of the Wagner Group, passing away, Biden made these comments.
According to Russia’s air transport bureau, Prigozhin was a passenger on a flight that crashed and caught fire on Wednesday.
The plane’s 10 passengers were all confirmed deceased.
Biden stated in a statement to CNN: “You may remember, I was asked about this.”
“I promised I would ride carefully. Biden was cited by CNN as saying, “I don’t know for sure what happened, but I’m not shocked.
There is “not much that happens in Russia that Putin is not behind,” the US president continued, “but I don’t know enough to know the answer.”
