After a weird noise from the roof that was misinterpreted for scavenging domestic animals led to the claim that the entire structure had burned down, the building was completely destroyed.
Members scampered for safety as the conflagration erupted in a ball of fire, leaving nothing from the building salvageable.
Ajaero was reportedly gone in Geneva at the time of the incident, it was learned.
Ajaero expressed his gratitude to God for the incident’s lack of fatalities.
After President Bola Tinubu eliminated the fuel subsidy, the Ajaero-led NLC called for a general strike.
Nevertheless, the walkout was put on hold following Federal Government intervention and negotiations.
