In response to Chelsea’s 1-1 tie with Liverpool, Pochettino says

Mauricio Pochettino, manager of Chelsea, believes his team should have defeated Liverpool on Sunday with a perfect score.

With a dramatic 1-1 draw against the Reds, Pochettino’s tenure at Stamford Bridge got off to a great start.

Axel Disasi’s first career goal offset Luis Diaz’s first score, and both teams had a subsequent goal disallowed for offside.

“I don’t think [it’s] fair. I believe that overall, we merited a little bit more. We are happy but also frustrated because we wanted and deserved to win, but this is just the start, Pochettino said to Match of the Day following the game.
