The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has bragged that he will receive the most votes from Kaduna in the 2023 election.
In the 2019 presidential election, Kaduna provided Atiku his greatest number of votes from a state (613,318); nonetheless, President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) defeated him in the state with a total of 993,482 votes.
If elected president, the PDP candidate promised to stop banditry in the state and resuscitate “dead” manufacturing industry.
He spoke on Monday at the PDP’s Kaduna Ranchers Bees Stadium presidential campaign rally.
If enough people turn out to support him in the 2023 election, Atiku promised to take state-related matters seriously.
Let me thank you for your support in 2019,” he said. In 2019, you gave me the most votes, and I anticipate that you’ll do the same this time.
“I’ve come here on behalf of the PDP to assure you that if you support us, Kaduna’s security situation would be resolved. Together with the Kaduna private sector, we will revitalize the industry there.
