Seyi Vibez, a popular singer, has admitted that Runtown was one of the musical influences on him.

During a recent outing with Runtown and British-Nigerian podcaster Adesope Olajide, he revealed this.

Four years ago, Adesope said Runtown was the one who initially introduced him to Seyi Vibez’s music; in response, the singer credited the ‘Mad Over You’ crooner as one of his teachers.

Runtown was the first person to mention Seyi Vibez to me nearly four years ago, the podcaster stated. “Let me tell you something that you don’t even know,” he continued.

“That’s why I said he [Runtown] is my OG,” Seyi Vibez retorted. My entire career in music has been influenced by artists like Runtown, I assure you. I hereby swear.

According to 460play, Seyi Vibez rose to fame in 2022 after the release of his breakout song “Chance (Na Ham)” off his second studio album “Billion Dollar Baby.”
