I never referred to Obasanjo as Tinubu’s super politician

Olusegun Obasanjo, a former president, has refuted reports that he praised Bola Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos.

According to Obasanjo’s observations, only those with military training become effective people managers.

Kehinde Akinyemi, the ex-Head of State’s spokeswoman, released the rebuttal on Sunday.

Obasanjo reportedly said that he couldn’t have said anything to disparage his honorable military career, according to a DailyPost story.

A group called “National Patriots” claimed in a widely shared WhatsApp message that the retired general had called Tinubu a “great politician.”

He was cited as saying, “If you are searching for a thoroughbred politician of masters class, visit Lagos Bourdillon.”

Obasanjo emphasized that only people who had been through military training could effectively manage both people and resources.

“I cannot denigrate my honorable profession in favor of untrained politics. This is bogus and fraudulent, the man declared.
