If you remember, just after the election, Abraham posted on her social media that she had a meeting with the soon-to-be president, during which he told her about his intentions to address the nation’s problems.

As the country’s problems worsen, Abraham is under criticism for her part in installing the present administration.

In response to the criticism, the actress took to Instagram Live on Tuesday to declare that she and her family will stand up to the persistent cyberbullying they’ve endured as a result of her political stance.

She made it clear that she is free to vote for and support whoever she chooses since Nigeria is a democracy.

Claims that the actress was paid to endorse Tinubu were also denied by the actress.

You folks bullied me when I wanted [Goodlcuk] Jonathan and everyone else wanted Buhari years ago. I can’t remember the last time I vented my anger at someone. You think it’s easy? Some folks keep telling me I don’t have to explain anything.

They curse at my kids every time they post a photo of them online. My tendency to let things slip is based on your perception that I am an emotionally fragile person. “However, I will not tolerate it on this occasion,” she screamed.

“What did my family and children do to you?” Just curse me if that’s what you want to do. Feel free to treat me whatever you like. You constantly bully and cuss at those kids, even though they don’t know what you’re talking about.

Some people keep telling me to just ignore them. There has been enough. I can no longer tolerate it.

Democracy, it is. I am fully entitled to cast my ballot for whatever candidate I see fit. I am officially stating that I did not solicit any funds to back Tinubu or Sanwo-Olu. That’s just not my personality. My background does not include such type of behavior.
