Ekpa, a DSS mole within IPOB, according to a secessionist organization

Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), a separatist organization, claims that Mr. Simon Ekpa, the leader of one of its factions, is working for the Department of State Services (DSS) to discredit the organization.

In a news statement, the group’s publicity secretary, Emma Powerful, made the accusations, stating that Ekpa was trained by the DSS in 2016 and placed into IPOB as a mole.

Since IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu’s arrest in 2021, Ekpa, a separatist leader located in Finland, has claimed leadership of the organisation and later referred to himself as the Prime Minister of the Biafra Government in Exile.

He is said to have issued the orders for civil disobedience in the southeast and to have been behind the violence that was directed at helpless civilians during the sit-at-home days.

Although Ekpa, the self-proclaimed disciple of Nnamdi Kanu, claims his acts are to demand Kanu’s immediate release, IPOB has consistently distanced itself from his activities.

“Ekpa was prior to this period groomed by the Nigerian DSS to usurp the leadership of IPOB in 2016 but that evil plans failed woefully,” Powerful stated in a press statement made accessible to DAILY POST on Monday.

“Simon Ekpa was the identical guy to the nameless Okwudili who DSS fabricated in 2016 as the new leader of IPOB during the time that our leader was being held in custody. Simon had previously hated Ndigbo and, in particular, IPOB in Finland. Members of IPOB in Finland can attest to this.

The sole purpose of the Simon Ekpa initiative, according to the Nigerian DSS, was to incite instability and hostility in the South East with the aim of destroying IPOB’s reputation.

According to the group, the federal government would have taken specific action to stop his activities in the zone if it weren’t for the fact that it was.

Why is there no attempt being made by the Nigerian government to diplomatically contact the Finnish administration regarding the apparent violence in Ekpa? Why did Nigeria censor Ekpa’s judicial proceedings in Nigeria as well as his legal investigation in Finland?

According to the organization, the federal government would have instructed the DSS to permit Kanu to address his supporters through his social media platforms if it were serious about stopping Ekpa’s mischief in the zone.

The gang also challenged Ekpa to try giving orders to IPOB members without mentioning Kanu’s name and see that no one would pay attention while urging its members to disregard Ekpa.
