Davido finally gives in to pressure and removes contentious footage

David Adeleke, nicknamed Davido, a well-known musician and head of a record label, has finally removed the brief segment from the contentious video of his signee, Logos Olori’s new track “Jaye Lo,” which he uploaded on Twitter.

According to 460play, the video of people dancing and praying in front of a mosque drew harsh criticism, with many urging the artist to take down the tape and apologize to Muslims for “disrespecting” their religion.

The DMW boss ultimately removed the “offensive” video from his Facebook on Sunday after first dismissing the accusations.

The contentious video has been removed, according to a check by 460play on his verified Twitter account @davido.

The musician has yet to apologize to Muslims, though, as of the time this news was filed.
