Posted by Ayo Adebanjo, the leader of the Afenifere, has warned Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde from meddling in the organization’s leadership matter.
Adebanjo made the statement while emphasizing that he has no issues with Pa Reuben Fasoranti, his predecessor.
He also cautioned Makinde against interfering in matters that he is ignorant of.
Yesterday, Adebanjo warned Makinde against trying to divide Afenifere in a press conference.
“Governor Makinde shouldn’t become involved with things he doesn’t know about. With Baba Fasoranti, I have no disagreements. He shouldn’t be one among the individuals pushing for the breakup of Afenifere, and that is not what I support, he declared.
In his speech, Adebanjo mentioned a potential reconciliation meeting with Fasoranti.
Adebanjo and Fasoranti’s reconciliation plans had been made public by Makinde.
