Ancelotti is officially the new manager of Brazil

Carlo Ancelotti will depart Real Madrid to lead Brazil at the Copa America in the United States the following summer.

Ednaldo Rodrigues, the head of the Brazilian Football Confederation, reaffirmed this.

Rodrigues made this known while choosing Fernando Diniz, the manager of Fluminense, as the team’s interim coach for the upcoming season.

“His (Diniz’s) game plan is almost identical to that of the coach who will be in charge of the Copa America, Ancelotti,” he remarked.

“We don’t refer to him as the national team’s temporary coach. He will travel to Brazil to assist Ancelotti with the changeover.

While at Real Madrid, Ancelotti coached some Brazil team members, notably Rodrygo Goes, Vinicius Junior, and Eder Militao.

While the Copa America begins on June 20 in the United States, the Italian still has one season left on his deal with Madrid.
