Alhassan Sule Mamudo, the state’s secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, received condolences from Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni on the loss of his wife.
Buni, speaking through his media assistant Mamman Mohammed on Saturday, termed the death as a significant loss for the family and the union but comforted the grieving by saying that this was Almighty Allah’s decision.
He prayed for the departed person’s soul to find eternal peace in Aljannatur Firdaus.
“May Allah (SWT) forgive her mistakes and give her and her family the strength to endure the tremendous loss, amin,” The governor prayed.
