Seyi Awolowo, a former housemate on Big Brother Naija All Stars, has publicly apologized to the show’s viewers for his sexist comments.
According to DAILY POST, Seyi has been in the spotlight ever since he revealed his plans to form a miscellaneous account so that his son may have affairs with women.
Nigerians as well as the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) criticized the comment harshly.
Seyi, on the other hand, called his comments ugly when he brought up the subject again in his post-eviction interview with the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, adding that he hopes people will look past his humanity and still work with him outside of the show.
“I was attempting to maintain my composure because my comment has stuck in my mind ever since. Although what I said was foul, I apologize.
I have no idea where to go from here because behavior like that renders you unsuitable for collaboration with any company or brand.
“I’m hoping for the best, since I know I need a lot of money for my production, that people would see past my humanity and still want to support me. I’m eager to attempt to finish the script I was working on before the house.
