The People’s Democratic Party’s National Chairman, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, stated on Monday that there was no crisis within the organization.
This came at the same time that he urged people who were not yet on the campaign train to do so as soon as possible in order to avoid falling behind as the party is aiming to overthrow the All Progressives Congress in 2023.
There is no crisis within the PDP; the train is running, and those who are not on board ought to get on, according to Ayu.
Ayu said while he and the party’s vice presidential candidate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, visited the Benue Community in Kaduna.
Before the elections in 2023, he urged the Kaduna community to come together more for the PDP.
Ayu, who was accompanied by Ashiru Kudan, the PDP candidate for governor of Kaduna State, and Senator Liyel Imoke, the former president of the Senate, said, “I am grateful that within a short period of notice, the Benue community in Kaduna has come out in such large numbers to receive me. It shows your passion for me and the PDP as the largest political party in West Africa.
“The PDP’s leadership will make sure that everyone can work in a clementine atmosphere. All of you who live in Kaduna and other residents must support the PDP’s candidate for governor since you are all natives of Kaduna State.
He said, “I pass over Ashiru to you and simultaneously hand over you to Ashiru. You must team together for success next year, and I’m sure he would appreciate your cooperation with appointments.
