Nigerian defender Ola Aina has been signed by Nottingham Forest.
Aina committed to a one-year contract that included future option clauses.
The 26-year-old left Serie A team Torino at the conclusion of the last campaign after his contract ran out.
Aina played 102 league games for Torino during the course of almost five years there.
He spoke while moving. “I’m very happy to be here and I’m eager to begin.
“I wanted to be back in England, and Forest is a team and a club with an exciting project,” he said.
“I want to support the manager’s vision for the team,” the player said. He assured me that I would appreciate working here and that the team was a family. He also mentioned how fantastic our group of players was.
Aina began his professional career at Chelsea and has since played for Fulham and Hull City in England.
