In his first spell at Real Madrid, the Frenchman won the Champions League three times in a row.
But in the past, some were sceptical about his ability to manage teams outside of France, Spain, and Italy due to his lack of proficiency in English and German.
According to Spanish news outlets, Zidane is reportedly “one step away” from signing a deal to join Bayern this summer.
The Bayern board has acknowledged that he is the top candidate still in the running.
