Popular singer Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, also known as Spyro, has dispelled the myth that he is a relative newcomer to the music business.

He asserts that he has more experience in the music business than the majority of Nigerian artists.

On Tuesday, the singer of “Who’s Your Guy” made this announcement via his Instagram page.

He posted something that said, in part, “It’s funny how many people assume I’m a new cat *lol. I arrived far earlier than the majority of your favorites.

Spyro mentioned that he intended to succeed the late Dagrin before he eventually switched from rapping to singing. He also included a clip and art cover of one of his flashback songs.

He said he worked with Tiwa Savage back in 2010, when he was still a rapper going by the name “Freeze.”

The musician said that in 2014, he also worked with the late Sound Sultan.

“I recorded my first collaboration with the late Sound Sultan in 2014, and since then, I’ve been working hard until God picked me up this year,” he said.
