Yesterday, at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, reality star Beauty Tukura, who is a Big Brother Naija alum, enjoyed her victory at the tenth annual Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, AMVCA.
After winning Best Dressed Female for the second year in a row, the former Miss Nigeria claimed that she would continue to win “until further notice.”
“Still Best Dressed 2023/2024… until further notice #AMVCA10,” Beauty captioned an Instagram photo of herself accepting her prize.
At Friday’s 10th Annual AMVCA Cultural Day and Opening Night celebration, reality personality Venita Akpofure (Big Brother Naija) took home the prize for Best Dressed Female for the second year running.
According to 460PLAY, ‘Breath of Life’ stole the show at the 10th AMVCA, taking home six awards in total: Best Movie, Best Director (BB Sasore), Best Lead Actor (Wale Ojo), Best Supporting Actor (Ademola Adedoyin), Best Supporting Actress (Genoveva Umeh), and Trailblazer (Chimezie Imo).
‘A Tribe Called Judah,’ the groundbreaking film by Funke Akindele, was unexpectedly passed over.
Despite being the first Nigerian film to make over N1 billion in theaters last December, ‘A Tribe Called Judah’ lost all five nominations.
