The purpose of the visit was to celebrate Eid al-Adha with the former third-ranking citizen and to hold fruitful conversations about the Senate’s advancement and commitment to providing Nigerians with democratic benefits.
Before the private conversations aimed at reviving Nigeria’s democracy, the visit, which was held in a cordial environment, included a prayer session.
Lawan was reassured by Senator Akpabio that his administration will be welcoming to all people, regardless of their political beliefs, ethnicity, or religion.
