While appearing on the American podcast ‘Business Untitled,’ Davido said that there are others from more affluent backgrounds who have tried to carve out a place in the entertainment world but haven’t been as successful as he has been.
My father isn’t the only Nigerian millionaire; there are plenty of others. Additionally, there are individuals (the offspring of billionaires) who have endeavored to pursue careers in music, entertainment, and business, just like I have. However, he attributed the success of his to his principles.
My father’s riches was the greatest obstacle I faced when I began my music career. The fact that I am competent and gifted is, however, the only reason I was admitted. I truly believe that my ability to excel in my field is the key to my acceptance.
