However, the priest pleaded with Nigerians to allow President Tinubu more time to turn around the economy, pointing out that most of the time great policy outcomes take time to materialize.

In his remarks about the Edo State gubernatorial contest, the cleric projected Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to win.
Prophet Ikuru declared, “The APC candidate will win the gubernatorial election which will be held on September 22. The PDP will come in second.”
Former Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu disassociated himself from PDP candidate Asue Ighodalo this week and declared his support for the APC flagbearer.
“In Edo State, there are just two homeboys in the main political parties. Two are in the APC and one is in Labour. Shaibu said, “I’ve decided to follow another homeboy in the APC.”
