Russian bombardment in the eastern Ukrainian city of Siversk has killed at least four civilians.
The deceased were individuals ranging in age from 36 to 86, according to Vadym Filashkin, the regional military governor of Donetsk, who made the announcement on Monday.
The last inhabitants of Siversk, which is situated approximately 10 kilometers west of the front line, were ordered by Filashkin to evacuate the city in a Telegram message.
Prior to the war, Siversk was home to more than 10,000 people.
Although Russia only maintains limited control over the Donetsk region, it has claimed the entire area as its own.
