The motivation behind Tiwa Savage’s decision to pursue music is now public knowledge.

A man she had a crush on inspired the ‘Koroba’ singer to pursue music, even though she always wanted to be an actor.

She claims she abandoned acting, her “first love,” in favor of music because her crush was constantly among musicians.

A recent interview with MTV revealed this to her.

This is something I’ve always wanted to accomplish,” Savage stated. One of my earliest passions, preceding music, was acting.

I dropped out of acting to pursue music after developing an unhealthy obsession with a guy who was constantly hanging out with a musician.
